TINY JAPANESE APARTMENT TOUR w/ Loft! TOKYO, JAPAN ♡

hi tell me I'm doing like hey guys welcome back to my channel it's Paris also known as the sweet pea mina-san konnichiwa Huttese – this is my gosh she's my host and I as you guys know I've been staying in Japan for about eight weeks and my summer program ended so after the program ended I decided to stay an air B&B and we're staying in Kichijoji this is Rica's apartment and if you guys are interested in staying with her you guys can search cozy and kiti Joji and the maple cars only for girls yeah so if you're guy sorry you can't thank you yeah so it's a share Rim so I guess it's a little different from most Airbnb s because it's like we're roommates exactly and I've been staying here for eight days so this is my last day but it's gonna it's been so much fun so I definitely recommend you guys stay with her but you find me yay so we're going to do a Japanese apartment – lets go alright guys so when you first walk in you just start in this little hallway hey Rika and first we have the gang cone so you take off your shoes right here and then you can step up onto the carpet so you don't like get your feet like get the house dirty and everything so yeah so first off we have the bathroom and I know for America this probably looks really small but I've actually gotten used to it and it doesn't really feel that small at all because it's just for one person ooh so there's the bathroom I mean the toilet right here and then over here we have a little towel rack and then a sink and then you can put your stuff if you like havoc stuff on top of the toilet she has this little thing right here for a toothpaste toothbrush all that stuff and yeah and then here is the bathtub it is a little bit small but I feel like it's fine I don't know I think it's is like a compact apartment so they really make use really good use of the space and I really like the shower because you can take it off and you can place like up there or down here and most American showers like you can't move them so I don't know I feel like I really enjoyed being able to like really wash my hair with it in stuff like that so yeah so this is the bathroom and the door is basically like a shower door because as you guys can see the floor is kind of like attended like a shower floor and it has this like drain it's just in case like water it's on the floor it can like go into the drain so um so yeah so it closes like this and then there's this little curtain here too if you want to be extra private okay so we're back to the hallway wait let me turn it that's kind of dark okay yeah so then we have a little kitchen here and this is like a little stovetop and a sink and then you have this little tray area here where you can like sit a bunch of stuff if you want okay so yeah so you can cook there if you want to and then she just has some extra storage up here for whatever you need and then down here well I can't figure out oh okay well we have this cabinet right here you can put extra stuff and then she just has more storage down here for all of her kitchen stuff and next we're moving on to the bedroom the best part of the apartment so this is the basically the bottom area of the apartment because there is also a loft above yeah so this is art I've been staying for the past week and it's so cute I honestly love staying here I'll just start over here so there's free snacks and they're also good so she has all that right there and then she has a closet over here and then another closet and me and then she has a bookshelf with all of her books on it and then a really nice TV I love your TVs yeah that's why I like it because our TV has like Netflix YouTube like everything so it's super super convenient over here we have her frigerator and look at UCLA yes so yeah she has a little refrigerator right here and then a microwave but this microwave is like different from American ones because it's kind of like an oven – I took an oven and a microwave right yeah so I always am so amazed and like we've what so that's like we'll see if you do want to cook you can definitely cook whatever you need in there and then she has this super cute couch I love it so much like I feel like this is such a great use of space like I wish my room was like organized like this because it's like this is like a full apartment in a bedroom like it's amazing so yeah so she has this little sofa right here and then here's the bed that I slept on and yeah it's really comfortable really cool and then we just have a little table that you can like eat it and then she also had a few guide books for Tokyo and this is in English too so kind of just shows you things about Tokyo like places to go and then this one is for Chi Chi Joji which is where we are and it gives you like a lot of the like best places to go in keachi Choji there's this one page about food oh I think it's this one I know there's so many like really awesome pages and then there's like so much to do in keachi Choji so I really like staying here and then lastly oh wait also she has a little porch like I think porch is the word for porch patio patio I don't know outside space where she has her washer and then she didn't use like the little line to dry her clothes because in Japan they don't really have dryers like for the most part people just dry their clothes naturally like with the air outside so yeah so it's super convenient and then lastly we have her loft up there which is so cool oh my gosh yeah Saturninus okay wait I kind of want to go up a little bit you can go okay so this is the loft I if you guys can see it properly I don't know if you can but yeah so I'm gonna go back down and then I'll show you guys a little bit from the bottom okay yeah so when you're in the room you can like see the loft like right up there and then I'm sitting on the bed this is pretty much the view that I have and yes alright guys so this has been a tiny Japanese apartment but actually this is a normal sized apartment yes for Japanese girls and guys too right guys okay yeah so this is like a typical apartment in Japan like there's definitely smaller apartments in this in Japan and I don't America they don't really have setups like this but for here I feel like it's good like I think it's enough space and you've been here for a few years right Oh more than two years I guess two years and you think it's fine I think I really honestly really like it like when I was sitting in here I was like well like if I lived in Japan like I feel like this would be fine cuz it's just like it's for one person so it's not like you need like too much space you know and it's very cheap it's around five to six hundred dollars a month for a place like this so if you're interested in moving to Japan like this is definitely something to look into so I hope you guys enjoyed this video thank you Rico from being in my video oh thank you I honestly I'm so glad I chose to stay here like I read all the reviews and like everyone's like Rica's so nice I was like I'll probably stay with her so it was definitely a great decision and I didn't want to stay like alone in Japan because I've always been around people so I was like I definitely want to like keep that up like I feel like if I was alone I wouldn't feel as motivated to like go out and do stuff so I definitely felt motivated and I had so much fun in Japan and Rico is definitely part of that to you so yeah so I hope you guys enjoyed this video don't forget to Like comment and subscribe follow me on Instagram whenever you ready
