($1300/Month) Seoul Apartment Tour | KOREAN HOUSE TOUR

VINA: Okay guys we’re finally going to do the long-awaited apartment tour!! MARKO: Oh a camera! What a coincidence! MARKO: Luckily I always have my hair done by a make-up artist every day when I am home. MARKO: Welcome to my crib! VINA: Your fans want to see your apartment so I decided to stop by. VINA: Even though I live here…
MARKO: I think it’s fine I always look like this VINA: Thank God MARKO: Welcome to my apartment! Finally the apartment tour! MARKO: Yeah, so let’s get it started! MARKO: I don’t know how it works I’ve never watched an apartment tour so I guess I’ll just show you this. MARKO: This is.. What is this, Vina? VINA: It’s the shoe… closet? MARKO: No I don’t think so because there is an umbrella VINA: It’s just a closet by your door. MARKO: And you can put everything you want (inside). So there are shoes…and high heels. MARKO: You don’t want to know why I have high heels… MARKO: Shoes, more shoes, yeah, more shoes. MARKO: Oh this room is actually my roommate’s room. I’m not suppose to show you guys this room MARKO: so hopefully he will never see this video. VINA: OKAY BYE MARKO: Follow me MARKO: This is the laundry room I guess
VINA: It’s hidden nicely MARKO: There’s stuff (laundry) inside…
There’s a washing machine inside and you know how it looks in there, right? MARKO: Let’s keep going MARKO: Here it is! My living room! And my kitchen MARKO: It’s very spacious, it’s very
large. I like it. MARKO: There’s not too much to show.
VINA: Nothing much hey… MARKO: There’s a lot of tea and stuff because I love to have tea before I sleep MARKO: Bonomelli: Le Tisane “Depurativa” MARKO: What’s here? A lot of mugs because I drink tea and coffee like a maniac. MARKO: A coffee machine here. IN KOREA a freaking coffee is 4000 won! MARKO: How about that four dollars for an Americano. And I drink three or four a day. MARKO: What about I don’t spend twenty dollars a day for coffee. MARKO: Oh! And then I make my cappuccino everyday. MARKO: How does it work?
VINA: Can you show us an example? MARKO: Pour milk and then you heat it. Done yet. Then use this machine and shake it like there’s no tomorrow. MARKO: It foams and then you’re like a barista. And then you pour it in your coffee. VINA: Amazing. This is where we eat all the time together and sometimes we edit videos here. VINA: We’ve been doing that. Marko’s favorite spot is the couch actually. MARKO: This apartment is called “Apartel” MARKO: If you don’t know what an apartel is… Google it because I don’t know what it is either. MARKO: But I think it’s because there’s no balcony. VINA: So if you sign up for a three-year
contract for your internet you get a free TV! MARKO: 40 inches, can we talk about that. I love you Korea. MARKO: Air con. Summer is coming so it’s always pretty useful. MARKO: It’s a great apartment and I like it but the fact that it doesn’t have balconies and stuff I feel like it’s (frustrating). MARKO: It’s a Korean word, how can you translate it? VINA: Frustrated, but it’s more like the feeling inside like… ahhh (?) VINA: Exactly “ahhh” MARKO: Oh ok. What about you continue this tour. Oh! Mosquitoes! VINA: Yeah we didn’t think it actually worked, VINA: but as you can see there are few dead mosquitoes that we should probably clean up. MARKO: Oh yeah we should, but we didn’t, ooops. VINA: It’s not like you knew we were coming today or anything. MARKO: Oh I like my sofa and candles. Ikea, ikea, ikea, ikea… G Market, the sofa is from G Market VINA: This is… *oh the garbage*
MARKO: The garbage! VINA: This is for when someone rings the door bell. VINA: I still don’t really know how to use it. You have to press these until it works. That’s all I know. MARKO: Yeah, you just keep pressing it.. that’s how it works. Duh. VINA: So I guess, now it’s my room! VINA: It’s super plain and boring right now ’cause I’ve only been here for a week. VINA: I have a super big wardrobe so I’m happy about that. I’m not going to show you inside. MARKO: Why not, Vina? Show us a little.. like a sneak peak. VINA: You know what, I don’t have hangers for anything. VINA: I got this from Daiso.. everyone knows Daiso. It’s like the Korean dollar store.. but everything is not a dollar. MARKO: Vina.. you feel lonely sometimes, right? VINA: You know what, I do, but that thing just scares me. Literally, I haven’t touched it since I’ve been here. VINA: I just sleep on the other side of the bed. MARKO: He really looks like a perv, though.
VINA: He does. VINA: I’m wondering why Marko put that… Is there a camera in there?! VINA: So we are on the tenth floor. Something I noticed right away when I came in here was the descending life line. VINA: Not 100% sure how to use it. I’m really hoping I never have to find out how to use it. MARKO: And there’s a little garden over there. MARKO: Oh, sometimes during the summer there’s this guy, there’s this Korean guy who likes to go tanning there. MARKO: And he’s super naked.
VINA: Is he hot? MARKO: He’s not hot but he has a nice ass, like a Beyonce kind of ass, but he’s a guy. VINA: Oh… damn. VINA: I will show you the bathroom I share with the other roommate. VINA: Basic, I guess. MARKO: At least you have a separate shower. MARKO: Mine is Korean style.
VINA: That’s so sad. MARKO: You can pee, you can poo, you can shower. What else do you need? MARKO: Oh! Explain this cool thing! Like, there’s no windows but there’s a fan inside that does something VINA: …yeah, it just kind of circulates (the air) but it’s really weak so I’m not sure if it does it’s job. MARKO: Is this a Korean thing? Because I don’t think we have this in Italy. MARKO: I don’t know. Guys let me know. VINA: I’m gonna let you know right now that at least in Canada we have those. VINA: And they are a lot stronger MARKO: Oh, I’m sorry. I’m a countryside boy so we have windows… MARKO: Welcome to the main room.. My room. MARKO: Yeah first we have my pictures here. MARKO: We have my pictures here I was really young here VINA: Baby Marco!
MARKO: Baby Mafia MARKO: And here I have a picture with my sister when I was little. I miss you Serena, my sister’s name is Serena VINA: Yeah, I got that… MARKO: And here I was dancing MARKO: I was like five years old and I was
already dancing MARKO: Here, what do we have OH one piece! MARKO: Ok I bought this because I’m like oh looks easy to do but no guys, it’s not easy. MARKO: I did this in a month. VINA: And it just stayed in the box. MARKO: Oh Korean books. That’s how I learned Korean those are books from SoGang university MARKO: Level 3 and 4 MARKO: My only game for 3DS. Super Smash Bros! VINA: Haha “braws” MARKO: *spazzing out*
I’m freaking Italian, I know how to pronounce it okay. VINA: Okay fine. MARKO: Here is where all the magic happens. VINA: Amazing!
MARKO: No Vina, here you idiot! MARKO: The … how do you say that?
VINA: Make up table. That easy. MARKO: Oh sorry.
VINA: It’s okay. MARKO: As you can see I have a lot of skincare and make up (products). MARKO: I’m loving these two. I just bought them, from Hanyul. MARKO: If you have sensitive skin these are really good. Toner and Lotion. MARKO: Hanyul, if you want to pay me for this, you can. MARKO: Winter clothing
VINA: And blankets MARKO: I have a lot of wardrobes, and bags. MARKO: And I have my bathroom inside my room. But I don’t have a separate shower, it’s so Korean style. MARKO: Oh my bed! MARKO: With unicorns! It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die! VINA: Are those not horses?.. No they’re unicorns I can see it. MARKO: And I told you guys I could buy everything from the Line store MARKO: Yeah I love those… MARKO: I have three here VINA: Garbage can (in case someone doesn’t know) MARKO: And this (hairband) is for when I do make-up. MARKO: This is my sleeping kit. I have to use a sleeping mask. MARKO: And ear plugs. You know in Korea, they don’t use ear plugs. No one knows what it is. MARKO: I had to order it from America MARKO: Of course my glasses and I have my Macbook and my iPad. VINA: Not a paid sponsor. MARKO: Not a paid sponsor but seriously, Apple, if you want to… MARKO: For formal occasions I just have two (suits) MARKO: So you will see me wearing either this, or this all the time. MARKO: I don’t need to show you my underwear, right? MARKO: And my 3DS I wanted to show you! MARKO: This is really cute! It’s like the Super Mario limited edition. I love this. MARKO: I have an insanely huge amount of swimming suits because I never go to the beach MARKO: and every time I go back to Italy I’m like “I think I don’t have a swimming suit” MARKO: and I keep bringing swimming suits from Italy and now I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. VINA: I think we should make it a point to
maybe go a few times (to the beach) this summer. MARKO: Yeah right, what about that! So probably next giveaway I will … MARKO: So that was my home tour! I hope you guys enjoyed it. I really like this apartment. MARKO: It’s a really nice one. I used to live in this super small one-room. MARKO: Don’t forget you can follow me on Instagram, and Facebook, and please subscribe! MARKO: Don’t forget the giveaway is still going on until June 6th and I will see you in the next video! MARKO: Pizza, Carbonara, Ciao!

They are called dalahorse (dalahäst). They have been made in hundreds of years in middle part of Sweden called Dalarna and are made in wood and painted in bright colors in a special way called kurbits. Typical tourist souvenir.

I love your apartment! Thank you for posting the tour, I'm hoping to move to South Korea soon, if the job works out.

It looks like you guys figured out the bathroom fan thing, but they're common in America. It's to vent the humidity out after a shower (or try to clear the stink out, lol).

Your unicorn blanket is actually a Dalahäst design, a Swedish wooden horse toy. It's also common in Norway. Because I'm of Norwegian ancestry, I was very happy to see it. I want one too. 🙂
(but you were so happy about them being unicorns, that yours will be Dalahäst-corns, lol)

Anyway, you have a BEAUTIFUL apartment, and I agree with you about the balcony. Here in America, many apartments have balconies and the newer ones being built seem to all have them now, at least where I live. I'd sure miss having one.

Thanks again for sharing your video. If I get to move over there, it's nice to see videos like yours to start getting familiar with how things are set up there, setting a little bit of what I might expect.

The pattern on the quilt are not unicorns but a specific horse art from northern Sweden called "Dalahäst". The "horn" that you called it are actually its ears. 🙂

Un paio di domande a cui spero risponderai
    1) Dove vivi precisamente
    2) Come ti mantieni li in Corea
    3) Ma le case asiatiche non erano tutte dei buchi di 20 m^2? (non che quella fosse gigante ma ha tante stanze)

    grazie mille 🙂

This looks strangely similar to EYK's last apartment in Seoul but they leaved to Japan kind of recently I guess, so maybe it is just the same model.

The apartment seems very small for such a high price.  Mmmm  I wonder what a good  size apartment goes for in a middle class neighborhood.
